NEWS FLASH! HUMAN RACE -- 9:00 AM MARCH 20, 2010 at GRIMSLEY HIGH SCHOOL The Human Race is an annual fundraiser for non-profit organizations that is coordinated by the Volunteer Center of Greensboro. Teams walk, wheel or run to raise money for their favorite non-profit. Because of our growth, we are desperately in need of a new van to help transport our individuals to community outings. We're asking that you help our efforts to buy a new van by sponsoring us in this year's Human Race. You can sign up to walk for us - and ask your friends to sponsor you. You can put together a team of friends or coworkers who will walk and raise money for us. Or, you can just send a donation to help us out! To donate, please mail your check, made payable to The Human Race, to After Gateway Inc., 501 S. Mendenhall St., Greensboro, NC 27403 by March 17th. Or, you can donate online by going to www.volunteergso.org and click on "The Human Race". This takes you to the main menu for The Human Race. From there, click on the donation link, put After Gateway in the "search" menu under team name, and the computer will guide you through making a donation. Remember -- this is a tax-deductible donation.
